AFC wins 3rd straight Pro Bow, 26-7 over NFC in Orlando

The AFC owns Orlando. Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes completed an 18-yard touchdown pass to Indianapolis' Eric Ebron, and the AFC beat the NFC 26-7 in steady rain in the Pro Bowl on Sunday. It was the third consecutive victory for the AFC in the NFL all-star game, all of them coming at Camping World Stadium.

Oregon State Names Blue Adams Secondary Coach

Former NFL player Blue Adams has been named secondary coach at Oregon State, Beaver head football coach Jonathan Smith announced Thursday. Adams most recently served two seasons as the secondary coach at the University of South Florida. “Coach Adams is an excellent addition to our staff and his knowledge of our defensive scheme will make the transition seamless with our coaching staff and players,” Smith said.

Maryland hires Jon Hoke as Defensive Coordinator

Maryland has hired former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive backs coach Jon Hoke to be its new defensive coordinator, according to multiple sources. Hoke, 62, will replace Andy Buh, who spent the past three years coaching Maryland's defense but was not retained by new head coach Mike Locksley. Buh recently accepted a role as Rutgers' new defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.

Cadillac Williams to coach running backs at Auburn

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Carnell “Cadillac” Williams is returning to his alma mater to serve as running backs coach at the University of Auburn. The school announced Williams addition to the coaching staff on Wednesday. Williams was the fifth overall pick of the Buccaneers in the 2005 NFL Draft.

Auburn hires former star Carnell Williams as RBs coach

Former Auburn tailback Carnell Williams has returned to his alma mater as running backs coach. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn announced Williams' hiring Wednesday. Williams was the 2005 NFL Rookie of the Year after being picked fifth overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Report: Schiano expected to join Patriots’ staff

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano, most recently the defensive coordinator at Ohio State, likely will wind up on the coaching staff of the New England Patriots, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport said Schiano would take the spot of Brian Flores, the acting defensive coordinator who reportedly will become head coach of the Miami Dolphins after the Super Bowl. Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Schiano never have worked together, but the two are believed to have a close relationship.

So petty: Panthers, Falcons celebrate Rams’ win over rival Saints on Twitter

The teams of the NFC South, well, three of them at least – like poking at each other on social media and playing up their rivalry. You don't see it much from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints definitely have a lot of fun on Twitter, especially when it comes to taking shots at one another. And, well, the Panthers and Falcons both had a laugh at the Saints' expense after New Orleans lost the NFC championships in overtime.
