Breaking Down Bucs Madden 22 Ratings

Marpet was followed closely by two of his other linemates: center Ryan Jensen and right tackle Tristan Wirfs, both listed at an 89. I have a gripe with another offensive lineman's ratings but we'll get to that in a bit. Defensive tackle Vita Vea was rated an 88, despite the fact he missed a majority of the season with injury, returning in dramatic fashion for the NFC Championship in Lambeau.

Bruce Arians, audience pleased with Bucs’ first day in pads

It looked more like football practice instead of soccer,” Arians said. A lot of guys look great in shorts, but they disappear when the noise level goes up. I can’t wait to grade the tape.

Tom Brady, Antonio Brown clicking early

There are some high expectations for Antonio Brown this season. After joining the Buccaneers in the middle of 2020 and being a big part of their eight game win streak to finish a championship run, Antonio Brown now gets a full off-season of work with Tom Brady and the Bucs’ offense. It’s no longer a crash course or “learn as we go” for AB.

NFL training camp updates: Super Bowl champ Buccaneers on field, Lions Olympic watch party, more

Saturday's 2021 NFL training camp practices opened with the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in pads for the first time trying to put it all together after a rough practice on Friday that coach Bruce Arians called "horse—-." Quarterback Tom Brady, who has ditched the knee sleeve, said he realizes the Bucs are like every other team in the league, starting from the bottom and trying to get back to the top.

Tom Brady didn’t hide torn MCL from Buccaneers after all

Tom Brady’s knee injury may not have been a mystery after all. In July, news first surfaced that Brady had played the entirety of last season with a torn MCL in his left knee, an injury that warranted “pretty serious” surgery in February. Yet according to Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen, the severity of the injury had not been a secret to the Buccaneers.

Arians Sees Balance Between Buccaneers Offense, Defense in Camp

Friday was not the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' best training camp practice thus far, in fact, far from it. Head coach Bruce Arians and quarterback expressed their frustration due to missed reads and communication errors across the offense after a strong first few days on the gridiron this month. However, that didn't stop Arians from giving Tampa Bay's offense credit where it was due.

Bruce Arians has some choice, profane words about Bucs’ practice effort

TAMPA — While a number of spirals and stout defensive breakups elicited hearty applause from the modest AdventHealth Training Center audience Friday, Bruce Arians had other impressions of the Bucs’ fifth practice of training camp. Unflattering — and even unfiltered — impressions at that. “It was just a horses—t practice,” Arians said following the workout, the last one before the team holds …

Tom Brady’s knee feels fine, happy to be back to work

A “long, arduous offseason’’ behind him, Tom Brady says his surgically repaired knee feels good and he’s happy to be back to work with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The seven-time Super Bowl champion revealed recently that he played all of last season with a torn medial collateral ligament that required surgery shortly after the Bucs dominated the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL title game in February.
