The 2021 NFL opener Thursday between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys averaged 26 million total viewers on all platforms, including NBC TV and Peacock. That's up 20% from the 2020 kickoff game. NBC's TV coverage peaked at 25.4 million viewers.
